Delicious, Come Famished.Clinton St. Baking Company is -Awesome- all around!!I came here with a friend on October weekend that Time Out Market was opened. We saw the food being prepared and just had to stop. We got an order of the pancakes, an order of the waffles, and a glass of fresh-squeezed orange juice. They were all yummy!! That fresh-squeezed OJ was some of the best OJ I've ever had in my life, and definitely the best I've had in NYC in the past 5 years. The pancakes and waffles were both decadent. Blueberry pancakes is recommended! One tip: if you're coming here, come HUNGRY! This food is best as a breakfast or dessert, so say goodbye to any further appetite for several hours after stuffing several bites of deliciousness into your body. (In a good, satisfying kind of way!)

Very relaxed brunch spot. Expect a long wait because this place is very popular. However the blueberry pancakes are definitely worth the wait. You can get coffee at the bakery to go while you wait to be seated. Great food, great atmosphere, great staff.

This has to be one of the best places I ever ate pancakes in my life. Even when my friends are coming to see New York from anywhere in the world. I always recommend them to book this place in advance to have the pancakes.

The food is amazing, but because of how popular it is, there are many negatives. First, expect to wait at least two hours. Second, my food was served quickly, but everything was cold. Even the coffee. Third, because of how popular it is, there is an emphasis for fast turn around, so don’t expect to linger and have a few drinks. I would recommend going during the week instead of the super busy weekend brunch hours. The food really is divine.

Came at brunch time on a weekend, was a little full but was seated right away. Ordered the chicken and waffles. The waffle was good, the chicken was alright, crispy but a bit unseasoned. Had a few of their brunch cocktails, highly recommend the Boozy Shake if you have a sweet tooth- they make virgin ones too! Overall an enjoyable dining experience, friendly staff, a cute decor, would definitely go back and try more items.

I had really high Hope's for here, but was very disappointed. The diet coke I ordered was horrible. I couldn't drink it. Had my husband try it, he said the same thing. I got the French toast. Awful. The bananas were over ripe, like mostly black, so they were very mushy and overly strong. The bread itself had bo flavor either. I gave 3 stars because my husband's shrimp and grits was good according to him.

It's on my list for a long time! Never checked out since I know it's always crowded and a long line for brunch on weekends. I came here on a random Thursday night, which I figured it's a perfect time to try out this popular place. My friend and I shared a blueberry pancake and a salmon egg benny. They are all amazing!! I saw so many good reviews on google and finally got to taste it! Blueberry pancake is their signature; it's absolutely one of the best pancakes I've ever had. I also like their Benedict a lot, since they use potatoes pancakes instead of biscuits. Such a perfect match.I made a reservation at noon and turned out there were still lots of empty seats when I arrived, so if you're around and in the mood for brunch as dinner. Definitely recommend it.

Before coming to New York I done some research on places to visit for breakfast. Clinton Street had very good reviews and I have to say I can see why.The pancakes were delicious. So soft and fluffy with an amazing taste. The chicken and waffles. Outstanding. The chicken was very flavoursome and the waffle was soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. It's safe to say I will be visiting there again before leaving New York. Highly recommended.

Fantastic brunch food. Had the blueberry pancakes and the Eggs Benedict. The pancakes were sweet enough to almost warrant not needing their maple butter to enjoy them. The Eggs benedict were flavorful, savory, and delicious. Wait times are a bit high but that's the price of quality so get here early.

I was doubtful when I first heard about Clinton St Baking Company. How good can you make breakfast? My doubts were unfounded. They turn waffles into a really otherworldly experience. The service was very good.As other reviewers have pointed out, cash only and expect a long wait, even on a weekday!

Cannot check in ahead of time on yelp waitlist anymore. Must check in in person first. Was a one and half hour wait on Saturday starting at 11:40 am. Food was good and I've been here multiple times. Worth the wait if it's your first time. My advice is to come here for dinner to skip the line as they serve the same.menu all day :)

I must say this is the best brunch I had in a while, the hype is true. However, my god the queues are long. Still worth it. Cash only for brunch.

Service was great, portions were large, taste was ok for me though my friend loved it. Cash only. Tried the blueberry pancakes and the chicken and waffles. Pancakes were fluffy and came with what seemed like a caramel tasting maple syrup which was great. Wish the chicken had more crunchy breading and that the waffles were more crisp. Price was reasonable for NYC. Usually a wait.

It's good. The blueberry pancakes are worth a visit - even tho they're fluffy diner style pancakes, they're crispy enough and the maple butter is pretty awesome. If you go for brunch, you will wait (a long time). Nice thing is, you can get pancakes/breakfast for dinner/all hours.

Waited approximately half an hour on a Sunday around 11am. Great selection of breakfast/brunch items. Food is delicious and pancakes definitely live up to their reputation. Note: cash only and only one washroom available (inconveniently located in the waiting area).

Good is good. Pancakes are fluffy and delicious. The other item item I had was also adequate. However this is not a good place to talk. It's very busy. And the staff after you've paid and they expect you to leave soon after eating. Also CASH ONLY IN BRUNCH TIME.

Fantastic place within easy access of the F line subway. I had the cherry cobbler pancakes -- wow! A bit pricey, but well worth it. If you're going for dinner, get there early -- they open for dinner at 5:30pm. Line builds up quickly.

Had a short wait to be seated as it was busy, but definitely worth the wait. The pancakes I had were incredible, and the bottomless coffee was incredibly welcome and chilly February morning. Couldn't recommend this place more.

What can I say about this place? I absolutely love it! One of my favorite brunch spots in the city. It’s a must go! Everything here is delicious! PLEASE NOTE: There are long wait times during the weekend, so arrive early, or plan ahead to wait... but believe me it is so worth the wait! Everyone I’ve taken here has fallen in love with this place, as I do every time I return. Never disappoints, their service is speedy and fast. Blueberry Pancakes are a must, and my personal fave Eggs Benedict.

Best Pancakes I have ever eaten. You gotta be there early tho. We waited in line to get a table for 20 minutes and we were there before it even opened. We were on vacation in NYC 2 years ago and we ate a lot of good food but I still think about this restaurant very often. It changed my life. Soo delicious. Must visit when you are in NYC

I was born and raised in NYC but live in Orlando FL. I cannot believe I’ve missed out on this gem! We had to wait about 30/40 minutes for a table which really wasn’t that bad as you’re in a great area to roam the streets until you get a text saying your table is ready! (I’m from this area so I know my way around, but even if you didn’t, I promise you’ll be fine) We started with mimosas, yum! Our entrees were amazing; we had omelets and sides of meats and avocado! Everything was amazing, fresh, and delicious! The staff was all really nice and we had a great experience! Omg! Also!!!! I don’t eat Jelly or jam!!!!! They’re going to put a little silver jar of jam on your table. Please try it. Something told me to and I would usually NEVER! You won’t be disappointed! Thank you so much Clinton street bakery company!

Was visiting NYC, and stopped by here for brunch with my girlfriend. We ordered an egg dish, as well as the blueberry pancakes. The food was very basic, and not overly good. The staff, however, was extremely friendly and accommodating. This place was also very packed but the line moved relatively quick to get a seat.

The pancakes are the staple here and the restaurant gives a generous portion. The syrup they served was smooth and caramel like. Great waitstaff. The place is small and there isn't much room to direct traffic. Overall I enjoyed the meal

Impressive customer service and food taste. This is an American breakfast & brunch restaurant. Saw a lot of people gathering here for having their favorite recipe. Loved the Sugar Cured Bacon, Eggs Benedict and Sugar Bacon Burger. A good place to bring kids.

The food is consistently good. I come here and order my usual Chicken and Waffles and it is always great; I ask for my chicken cooked well done and it is done right (without being burnt) every time. The service is great, attentive staff even when the place is full, and I never have to wait too long for my order. Note: CASH ONLY

My wife and I went there today. The food was good but expensive, a million dollars. We couldn't add items like pancakes to eggs and bacon and it was cash only. The website doesn't say cash only. Other than that the staff was great and again the food was good.

We've been trying to go to Clinton St. Baking Company for brunch for the longest time when visiting NYC, but there is always such a long line. We put our name down but end up going elsewhere. After all the hype and attempts, we finally got in for a very early brunch at 10am. I do have to say that the food was very good but... I wouldn't wait 2 hours (or even 1 hour) without having a fun place to hang out during that time. In summary: good food, but not worth a long wait

I Googled best pancakes in New York and this was on all the lists. The hype is real. I was most definitely not disappointed. We had the Spanish scrambled eggs, with a side of bacon, and the Maine blueberry pancakes with maple syrup butter. The scrambled eggs were delicious and the bacon nice and crispy. However, it was all about the pancakes. They were so fluffy I'm surprised they didn't float off the plate. The maple syrup butter and blueberries worked so well together, it didn't come across as too sweet. Pure bliss. Was slightly expensive, but for food like this it was totally worth it. NB: cash only, but there is a ATM just outside the restaurant. Only slight criticism is that there is only one toilet; given the resutuant is always busy, it means there is normally a queue - so need to be strategic! Overall though, I can't recommend this place enough.

Staff always points out the pancakes and chicken waffles are their best sellers. Tried the blueberry pancakes myself and they were delicious. Light, fluffy, with blueberries inside and on top. The maple butter syrup isn't overly sweet which was a nice break from the typical.

This establishment has grown double in size since I last saw it a few years ago. They were two doors down previously, which they converted into a bakery/restaurant. Before it was relatively long wait time about 2 to 3 hours for two people, but this time we only had to wait one hour before our table was ready even though it was peak Sunday brunch time. We ordered the chicken and waffles and their famous triple stack pancakes, both of which were very well done. The waffles and pancakes were very soft and fresh. The maple syrup they included was also delicious and had a moderate consistency. We also had a side of double smoked bacon, which was also well cooked except for one piece, which was too crunchy and brittle. Overall, I would recommend this place if you haven't tried it before. There is definitely other items on the menu to try for repeat trips as well.

We ordered the chicken waffles. The chicken was not very moist and hard and tough. I was very surprised. This dish is touted as their number one Dish. The blueberry pancakes were very good. Filled with blueberries. Very flavorful. Certainly better than the chicken waffles. Coffee was excellent. Dark roasted. The bloody Mary was pretty good as well. Service was excellent despite the fact that we had a one and a half hour wait to get a table!!!

Your day is going well if you start it with brunch at Clinton Street bakery. Be prepared for a wait. A LONG wait. But it's New York, don't act surprised that you have to wait for amazing breakfast! we split the famous pancakes and an eggs Benedict. Normally pancakes at breakfast gets really overwhelming for me, but these pancakes are FIRE. If you have any hesitation, don't. They are WORTH IT. The eggs Benedict was also super balanced and very tasty. Our server was speedy but funny and informative. Also, the lighting in this place is FABULOUS. Come here looking adorable and get ready to grace your insta story (or dare I say your grid) with amazing brunch photos that will make all your friends jealous. Next up for me: trying this place as delivery!!

The breakfast here was AMAZING! The place was packed, so thanks to the yelp reviewers we knew to get on the waitlist beforehand. The service was quick and the servers were wonderful. The things that were a real let down for me were that we did not know ahead of time that this is a cash only establishment. Maybe we didn't read closely enough, but we didn't see that being mentioned anywhere. And the lady who worked there kind of ordered us to walk across the street to take cash out. Also, the pricing is high for the food here. So just be aware of that ahead of time. All in all the food was fantastic. Tasty, well made, and quality, but pricey. If you are looking for an indulgent breakfast meal, this is the place.

My wife and I were impressed with this place! We had the blueberry pancakes, the french toast, and the sugar cured bacon. Their "secret sauce" is the incredibly addictive maple butter. Service was a little slower than I would've preferred, but it was forgivable because we weren't in a hurry. Also, both dishes could use some acidity to balance out the sweetness (maybe some fresh blueberries, strawberries, or oranges on the side). We'll definitely be back if we come back to NYC!

traveling teacher....Had the fried chicken sandwich it was decent , the fries were awful and the slaw and the pickle a non event, why bother offering accessories that taste and are presented badly. What’s more annoying then CASH Only ...how inconvenient for Customers and global travelers I Won’t be recommending this to family and friends who travel to the LES. Too much hype for this place. It’s too bad.

Always long wait and cant reserve spot for brunch. The place is tight. The food is good. But it can get pricey. For 4 adult and 2 kids (4 and 2 year old) .. the bill came out to $250 plus tax and tips. It was a bit much for brunch

This place is well worth the hype! I had always heard so much about the pancakes and recently went to get them and see if they lived up to all the rave reviews. And let me tell you, they do. I had the banana walnut version, it comes with a maple butter that is so delish. The bacon was good, though a little unevenly done. We arrived around 10:15AM on a Sunday and there was a small wait, but they allow you to put your number down and they text when your table is ready. So you can wander the neighborhood while you wait. But we didn’t need to wait long, a table was ready within 5 minutes.

Came here with a group of 8 to celebrate my daughter’s 13th birthday. Staff was great and very accommodating. Food was pretty good, whole family agreed, including my 4 yr old niece and nephew. Chicken and waffles, Salmon Burger, Calamari and vanilla cake (birthday cake made in-house) were just a few things that we tried, give all two thumbs up! Overall great time, cant wait to go back!

They do not accept reservations, if you go early (when they open), you have a better chance of no wait. Waits can be looong if you go during busiest weekend hours. Weekdays are also a great time to go.
